Abstract: Cities rich in natural resources come into being with the exploitation of natural resources.I nview of such a trait,it's faced with a serious challenge:how to achieve sustainable development.By comparing some successful cases of industry trens formation in the U.S.,Canada,Australia,Japan,Eu,etc.,and the stagnancy and recenion in former U.S.S.R. and Venezuela;the article forwards some roluable practies that can be employed in China.
