Abstract: Because of the enormous economic worth and social value in original geological data,there need to vigorously promote social service of original geological data,when we face the prospecting breakthrough strategic actions and the growing needs of economic and social development.In this paper,based on the present situation summary of original geological data management work,reasons for restricting the current social service of original geological data are analyzed,they include:unable to concentrate custody,lack of service mechanisms,poor service channels,service product development lags,and so on.Then,the management model of the establishment with unified intersect,place suitable custody and strengthen supervision is proposed.Finally,the proposals to the social service of original geological data are given,which include building both public and commercial service mechanism,publishing data catalog concentratly,developing series of services products and so on.
