Abstract: As an important area of the construction of ecological civilization, coal is the material basis and energy source of the economic social development, and has taken the important responsibility of the construction of socialist modernization. At the same time, the coal industry in the mining, mineral processing, smelting and transportation and other aspects have difficulty to avoid the area to varying degrees of pollution, its own energy-saving emission reduction task is very urgent. As a coal college, it should play an active role in higher education reform and talent training in the coal industry, and strive to cultivate the ecological civilization, to grasp the knowledge of green mining, green mining construction skills, to participate in the construction of green mining professionals, to provide a strong support for the country's modernization, especially the construction of ecological civilization in the coal industry.
