Abstract: Currently,the sluggish global economy,especially major driving force-emerging economies in the world,leads to significant adjustment of global mining industry.It is manifested in slump development of mining industry,declining at different extent in the need,price and stock price of mining products,and less mergers and acquisitions in mining industry.The paper probes into factors and main reasons influencing global mergers and acquisitions of mining industry.According to status quo of mining market,it speculates characteristics of development of merger in mining industry in future China.First,overseas mergers and acquisitions will be more active and block trade will decrease.Second,copper and gold will be the popular minerals of overseas mergers and acquisitions in mining industry.Third,ways of investment varied.It thus proposes six strategies accordingly.Firstly,making a detailed research before taking steps.Secondly,implementing local management.Thirdly,setting up fine corporate images.Fourth,strengthening construction of talent team.Fifth,reconstructing investment style.Sixth,change the role of government bodies.
