Abstract: It is introduced that the application of long hole loose blasting technique in excavating unstable rock bedding slope under the complicated environment at the Chongqing～Huaihua Railway.According to the characteristics and environment of this engineering project,through optimum seeking appreciative parameters of loose blasting and slope smooth blasting,loading method,using a blasting network of in-hole and out-hold millisecond delay,choosing the directions of minimum burden and loose blasting,controlling every delayed detonating change and taking effective safety measures,the blasted flying rocks and blasting vibration have been controlled successfully.
