Abstract: Harmonious mining area construction is an important part of harmonious social construction of socialism,and an inevitable road to achieving sustainable development of mining.This paper described the practical significance of the harmonious mining area construction,and summed up the achievement of the pilot construction in Inner Mongolia province since 2011,but there were still some problems,such as department division management,mine group contradiction difficult to coordinate,and lack of corporate social responsibility,ect.We should establish a new resource management concept,construct new mechanism of harmonious mining area,and promote the harmonious mining development by reform.
