Abstract: The Democratic Republic of the Congo(Congo(Kinshasa)) is the largest country cobalt resources and producer in the world, the largest country copper resources and producer in Africa.Its diamonds, tantalum, niobium, gold and oil resources are of great potential.On the basis of analyzing the resource endowment, economic development and geopolitics of Congo(Kinshasa), this paper makes a systematic analysis of its mining investment environment based on the SWOT model, and considers that the opportunity of mining investment is greater than that of risk.On this basis, the investment strategy of China’s enterprises in Congo(Kinshasa) mining is put forward, Investors should make full use of the Congo(Kinshasa) is rich in mineral resources, low threshold of market access, geographical location and market advantages of radiation, take the chance of “Belt and Road” west extension, develops diversified investment, broaden access to resources.Besides, paying close attention to the political situation, do the risk assessment and cost budget.
