Abstract: Data organization and management is playing an important role on digital mine. Data warehouse has provided a valid approach to data sharing and data processing. Firstly, this paper describes the opportunity and challenge of digital mine in newly times, then summarizes the conception and characteristic of mine data warehouse. Secondly, it discusses what’s the architecture of mine data warehouse and how to build dimensional data model for digital mine. Eventually, it analyses the widely applications of mine data warehouse in the domains, such as mine management and decision making, automatic exploring, intelligent scheduling, and networking monitoring.
