Abstract: This paper first defines the connotation of mining economical areas development localization from the angle of practical experience,and determines the main content of the development positioning research from two dimensions of time and space.On this basis,this paper combs the theoretical basis of mining economical areas development localization research,which includes Location Theory,Sustainable Development Theory,Industrial Cluster Theory and the Theory of Circular Economy and their enlightenments.Then this paper summarizes the basic principles of mining economical development orientation from three angles of national industrial layout,regional industrial specialization and comprehensive coordination development,economic and social sustainable development.Finally,the paper puts forward the development orientation of mining economical areas has the characteristics of resource decisive,dynamic and periodic,so as to put forward the mining economical areas have the guaranteeing mineral resources' sustainable supply,promoting economic development,speeding up the mining technology innovation,strengthening ecological environmental protection and management,and other functions.
