Abstract: South Pacific island countries have rich submarine polymetallic mineral resources,but they urgently need foreign technical assistance to improve their native economy as these island countries are backward in social economy and short of modern scientific and technological conditions.The present study focuses on sino-island countries cooperative exploration and development for the deep-sea mineral resources based upon bilateral/multilateral cooperation that aims at strengthening mutual beneficial cooperation to realize mutual development strategy.
