Abstract: The coal seam of the study area formed in the Carboniferous and Permian,coal seam distribution is mainly affected by the paleogeographic and sedimentary environment,fold fault and magmatic activity.Tidal flat and delta depositional system determines the thick coal seam and stability.The coal is many mining,with low ash,low phosphorus and low sulfur.The coal seam located in the secondary structure of Yongcheng's anticlinorium wings.The coal canbe preserved for the formation of faults cutting depression,as the basis of field dividing.The coal seam in theupliftareahasbeenworn away.But since the magmatism at yanshanperiod,the coal was turned into the natural focal or the mixture of natural focal and rock.
