Abstract: The range of cracked surrounding rock of the square type gateway is tested using the ultrasonic technology at the 8303 coal face in mine Scope of cracked surrounding rock of the gateway is concluded through the monitoring result. Based on the surrounding rock cracked range theory, the parameters of supporting design is made at the 8303 coal face. After the site investigation, it can be to effectively control surrounding rock deformation a good support result is obtained and worthy to be popularized in clinic.
