Abstract: Western Australia is rich in mineral resources,political stability,law building,is the main area of China Geological Prospecting Units go out investment in mineral exploration,but many projects in the implementation process encountered some problems,the success of the project is very few.The Western Australian ore forming geological background and main mineral species were reviewed,and pointed out the main problems in investment in mineral exploration:Project information collection is not complete,not in the main metallogenic belt constituency,economic evaluation problems and existing environment and indigenous rights.And put forward some advice to solve these problems:Should be in accordance with the commercial culture idea to think about the problem in the investment philosophy;Capital operation can acquire exploration through transfer options and cooperative exploration rights;The four elements of investment decision making major investment in accordance with the state policy;In the exploration of methods,for the fast evaluation using the most direct,effective method.
