Abstract: Shale gas is a clean and efficient energy,in the America successful commercial development model,attracted global attention.At present,Hunan Province in the shale gas geological theory,potential evaluation and favorable zone optimization and other aspects of the initial exploration,made some progress.A preliminary investigation indicate that shale gas exploration potential is tremendous in HuNan,but how to economy,effectively mined the abundant Shale gas resource in Hunan,that will be a big challenge of shale gas exploration and development in the future.Therefore,we also need to strengthen the basic geological research,exploration and development test,get the key parameters,ultimate realization Shale gas industrial gas breakthrough in Hunan.
