Abstract: The fault's accurate positioning is one of the key work to finely describe traps.In oil-gas exploration and development,weak seismic reflection target's breakpoint is often difficult to determine and lead difficulties to select drilling target.This paper focuses on the fault targeting issues,based on the deposition characteristics,seismic reflection and fault development characteristics of the 3rd Member of Funing Formation (E₁f₃) in Gaoyou Sag,combined with production practice,make use of researching regional fracture system section and plane distribution to guid faults' interpretation.The breakpoint targeting indirect positioning methods based on the Three-coincidence Principle of low-grade faults interpretation are lastly summarized.It is performed to be further implemented the E₁f₃ structure scheme and improved the trap description precision.
