Abstract: The potassium feldspar of middle-low grade can be applied inceramic industry after purified.The purification process would increase the cost and decrease the utilization ratio of potassium feldspar.Base on the high-efficiency development and utilization of mineral resources,the potassium feldspar of middle-low grade from Yi-yang in Henan province has been used as the main raw material to prepare the fritted glaze.The other mineral materials andthe chemical reagenthave also been used as raw material to adjust the composition of glaze.The results show that the optimum melt holding time and the appropriate glaze firing temperature have been determined:2hand 850～875℃,respectively.Therefore,this research would provide a new approach to the rational development and utilizationfor potassium feldspar of middle-low grade.
