Abstract: The paper defines again the concept and basic composition of ecological environment of coal cities,introduces the main influencing factors of ecological environment assessment of coal cities,proposes the principle to establish the ecological environment assessment index system in coal cities,based on which,the ecological environment assessment index system in coal cities are constructed.
