Abstract: Concerning China's strong demand of mineral resources resulted from industrialization and urbanization development,it is of great importance for China to advance overseas mining investment to strengthen resources security.Currently,there are great policy and market opportunities as well as a series of challenges for China's overseas mining investment.Since the world financial crisis in 2008,China's overseas mining investment achieves rapid development characterized as targeted on developed countries and bulk minerals.It is suggested that,to further promote China's overseas mining investment,special attention should be paid to strengthening China's global resources strategy,establishing service system of overseas mining investment,and pursuing win-win investment pattern.
