Abstract: In recent years, iron ore prices soared, many domestic and foreign companies began to invest iron ore industry extensively. Since most of our mining companies established not long and had little information of the distribution of iron ore resources overseas, quality and investment environment,which often cause blind investment and significant economic losses. This paper systematically analyzes global iron ore resource types, distribution and quality, and then discusses the trend of iron ore exploration investment, assesses the country's iron investment environment, classifies and points out the priority countries Chinese enterprises need to invest.
