Abstract: The No. 50 diamond mine of Wafangdian Diamond Company Ltd. is now the largest diamond production base in China. Its completion and production provide a lot of experience in construction speed, production technology and equipment for development of the country's diamond mining and separating industry. Produced diamonds are sold to America, Belgium, Japan, South Korea, Hongkong and Taiwan, etc. and have a favourable reception of foreign businessmen due to high quality. This paper gives a brief introduction of the producing process of diamond mining and separating, key equipment as well as prospects of the mine.
