Abstract: Harnessing plan of continuous wall solidified by earth nail and drainage by horizontal holes is adopted by Zhaodianzi Iron Ore Mine to harness the water containing silty and fine sand bed of side slope. It can not only reduce the stripping amount and guarantee the safety of production, but also prevent the fertileland neighboring the side slope from collapsing and damaging.
