Abstract: China has been set up for a short period,which delays the study on mining city.However,as resources depletion threats the sustainable development of mining city,studies on mining city are getting more and more attractive.Many scholars and experts have studied much on related conceptions and theories,etc.The paper summaries various study achievements,such as conception,definition standards,classification and statistic of mining city.On conclusion of previous studies,the paper puts forward a new definition standard of mining city.
