Abstract:
Ground movement and deformation caused by underground coal exploitation is very complex in the mountainous area. Slope stability is associated with the geological and mining conditions,the nature of cover rocks,the extent of mining,local terrain and physiognomy,the shape of the slope,the characters of the rock (land),and the shallow structure,etc. Thus the mountainous slope stability prediction is very difficult. The incentives of landside,the existing surveying technique and the analytic method to slope stability of the mountainous mining area are analyzed first,then how to design the landside forecasting system based on GIS is suggested in this paper,this system can advance green mining and prevent mine disasters as soon as possible.
