Abstract: The research on the tailing processing of concentration plant of Nanfen Iron & Steel Co., showsthat the iron metal in tailing mostly exists as magnetite and hematite, and has a higher single liberation in -200 mesh class. Therefore the taiIing has a recovering value. The test of primary concentration by high-intensity magnetic separation and table clearning shows that the more 400 kt of primaryconcentrate will be got every year.
