Abstract: Layer silicates have excellent adsorptive performance because there are structural channels in it.This paper expound the layer silicates' mechanism of adsorptive performance form its structural.The layer silicates are emphatically discussed for current research of controlling heavy metal ions,organic pollutants and ammonia-nitrogen in wastewater,and explain the possibility of using in wastewater disposal.
