Abstract:
The ore type of the Kendekeke Iron Mine of Ge’ermu City, Qinghai Province, China, falls in the category of skarns. Although its property isn’t very complex, its metallic minerals include not only magnetite but also pyrrhotite. The existence of pyrrhotite disturbs the beneficiability of valuable minerals and decreases the final recovery of iron ores. Therefore, based on the analysis of the limited test data, the writer puts forward a reasonable mineral processing flowsheet to remove pyrrhotite.
