Abstract: Numerical studies are conducted of the safety for the underground mining system in Xiangxi Gold Mine in Hunan Rrovince by incorporating the empirical deformation criterion and Mohr Coulomb strength criterion with Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua (FLAC).The results show that the mining system can ensure the safety during the operation.
