Abstract: This paper introduces the general situation of uranium resources around the world(except China),the type of the uranium ore deposit and the large-scale uranium mining companies,including the amount of uranium resources,geological outlines,and information about uranium exploitation of the top-5 uranium-rich countries.Considering the geopolitics,investment policies,and the characteristic of China,the authors suggest that exploration investment must be intensified,domestic uranium resource must be used sufficiently,a uranium reserves must be established; China's "going overseas" strategy must be taken steps to speed up,we should keep focus on the neighboring countries,pay closer attention to African countries and North America,play an active part in the cooperation of the uranium exploration in Oceania;pay attention on the large-scale uranium ore companies and their uranium ore;increase our own technical level,exchange technology for resources
