Abstract: Germanium is mainly used in electronic and communication industry.The application of germanium becomes wider and wider and the need for it increases steadily.The paper reviews the progress of technology on recovery and preconcentration of germanium,especially on the method and approach of recovery and preconcentration of germanium.
