Abstract: Based on the statistical characteristics of coal output and its distribution,to take Wulumuqi city of the Xinjiang Autonomous region and Shen-fu coal mine region of Shan'xi Province examples,whilst comprehensively take into account of mining technology conditions,geological and natural environment,we mainly concerns the induced-environmental hazard and sustainable safe mining for the western coal mine region of China.Finally,we have proposed some effective encounter-measurements for prevention the induced environmental hazard to ensure safe mining and its sustainable development.
