Abstract:
On the basis of research on process mineralogy characteristics and separation experiment, a pilot test is conducted on a vanadium-containing titanomagnetite ore (TFe40.74%, TiO
226.11%, V
2O
50.29%). An iron (vanadium) concentrate is obtained with the yield of 67.80%, the grade TFe of 45.70% and 31.75 of TiO
2 and 0.323 % of V
2O
5 and recoveries of TFe, TiO
2 and V
2O
5 are 75.98%, 84.80% and 76.41%. A high titanium slag of the grade TiO
2 of 85% and a metallic iron product of metallization rate of 90% are obtained, by grinding and separating the grinding after reducing roasting on the concentrate. The titanium and iron are fully utilized from the resource.
