Abstract: The support capacity of mine is lie on production capacity, ore grade, reserves and other factors. In accordance with different indices, we can get different result. In order to avoid the limition of single indicator and come to a integrated conclusion, the analysis of multivariate statistical methods should be used. In this paper, cluster analysis method was used on the study of medium-sized iron mine in China. Then we give out the classification, and put forward some countermeasures and policy suggestions.
