Abstract: In this paper, tests of mineral processing were finished on the ref ractory hematite limonite of Shanxi with iron content about 24.05%, rate of magnetism (FeO/TFe) about 0.6%. Grindability and tech-nique of mineralogy of this iron ore were described. The major study was put attention on efficiency of magnetic separation at high intensity and reducing roasting-magnetic separation. Tests of reducing roasting-magnetic separation could attained good results as: concentrate iron grade be about to 58%, recovery of iron above 60%.
