Abstract: This paper expounds the general situation of Chinese geological prospecting investment in 2013. The article deeply analyzes the characteristics of China’s geological prospecting investment. The article believes that China’s geological exploration investment is the first negative growth in 2013. The central and local fiscal funds play a leading role in the basic geological work. The domestic enterprise funds dominate the mineral exploration field. The western region is the key area of our geological exploration investment. Based on the trend of the domestic and international economic situation and mineral products market,Forecast for 2014 and 2015 China’s geological exploration investment will continue to reduce.
