Abstract: This paper proves the basic respects of engineering geology in mining in terms of deposit origintypes and mining practice, concretely discusses the basic mining geology, four core respects restrictedby deposit origin types, such as basic mining geology, stability of high-steep slope, stability of sur-rounding rock mass in deeper mine, and geological calamity in mining.
