Abstract: The traditional high emissions,high pollution and low efficiency development model of coal industry must be made changed greatly under the background of industrial restructure and developing strategic emerging industries in China.The paper discussed the coupling development path of coal clean conversion industry and strategic emerging industry which was based on analyzing the potential development value of coal clean conversion industry which national energy security could be protected and overall strength of coal industry could be promoted simultaneously,and meanwhile,the paper took new energy,new materials and energy saving and environmental protection three industries as dominant coupling industry,took advanced equipment manufacturing,new generation of information technology and biology as assistant coupling industry,took coal polygeneration as demonstration industry.Finally,the paper proposed detailed technology development path and policy recommendations which were all relying on technology oriented of the six kinds of strategic emerging industries.
