Abstract:
The bauxite deposits in Shanxi Wangrun-Xiyadi region,which was found by Shanxi Institute of Geological Survey in recent years,it is a large-size deposits.Through the research of bauxite deposits,analyze the content of the rare-earth elements in samples of deposits,and research the relationship between the characteristics of rare-earth elements and the deposits,discuss the significance of the genesis and environment of bauxite deposits from the rare-earth elements.This study shows that the ΣREE of bauxite deposits is large in this region,light REE relative enriched,with Eu negative abnormality;using the diagram of REE,we know that the metallogenic source material comes from the upper crust.The carbonate rock of bottom plates is source bed.The bauxite deposits occur on the weak oxidation environment of Marine or Transitional facies,there was positive correlation between the ΣREE and Al
2O
3 in deposits.
