Abstract: With the gradual increased of open-pit mines in china,the models of exploitation and development have great changed.The number,capacity,craft,equipment and industry development of open-pit mine in vertical and horizontal is contrast.It is concluded that the open-pit mines in china are mainly by comprehensive mining craft and have the characteristic of large scale,high efficiency and large equipment and so on.It take the circular economy as the development model and take the green mining as the final purpose.These conclusions has great significance for the development of open-pit mine in our country in future
