Abstract: Japan is one of the poorest countries of the mineral resources in the world, and is alsoone of the world's greatpower of mineral resources due to its powerful capabilities for mineral resources.It has a strong reference for China’s mineral resources strategic adjustment through the systematic study of Japan’s global mineral resources strategy.We have four conclusions:Japan formed a as JOGMEC as the core of the system of efficient mineral resources management agencies, which provided a strong guarantee for its overseas development; Japan has developed a clear and operational mineral resource strategy with energy and strategic metal minerals at the core of effective protection of national resources; Through the consortium operation, Japan access to a considerable market share in the global resource market, to create a number of international mining aircraft carrier.Through the capital operation, the Japanese consortium and the US financial consortium became the community of interests, getting the ticket into the western world.
