Abstract: The ocean is a treasury of mineral resources,among those mineral resources Ni,Co and Pt are mainly occurred in manganese nodules and cobalt-rich crusts.Geographical distribution,texture,structure,mineral composition and chemical composition of manganese nodules and cobalt-rich crusts are simply discussed.And then the authors point out the gigantic resource potential of Ni,Co and Pt in the ocean.Also exploitation situation of these mineral resources is analyzed and problems of technology,economy and environmental protection are put forward in the paper.At last the authors make some suggestions on the exploration of these mineral resources of our country.
