Abstract: Land reclamation is important for the vegetation restoration in the mining area.Based on the demands of regulation on compiling land reclamation plan,the land reclamation plan of the Qulong copper poly-metic mine in Tibet is designed.The reclamation directions of each site are:the bench and the slope of the open pit remain rock landscape,the open pit bottom remains water landscape,other sites reclaim into grass land.The key technologies in compiling land reclamation plans for the metal mine in high altitude region are discussed to provide reference for similar region,including saving soil source,including altitude as an evaluation index in the suitability evaluation of land reclamation,practicing land reclamation reliability tests,guaranteeing land reclamation fund and considering public opinion,etc.The result indicates that the unit static investment in high altitude region is twice that in the low altitude region.
