STUDY ON GEMMOLOGY OF BERYL GEM FROM PINGWU SICHUAN AND MECHANISM OF IRRADIATION INDUCING COLORATION

摘要: 四川平武产出世界上十分稀少和珍贵的无色透明扁平扁板状绿柱石宝石。本文介绍了绿柱石宝石学特征; 扁平板状绿柱石晶体生长机制及无色透明绿柱石辐照赋色机理。

Abstract: The colorless transparent flat tabular beryl gem of Pingwu county, Sichuan province is rare and valuable in the world. The paper introduces the gemological characteristics of beryl, the growth mechanism of flat tabular beryl crystal and the mechanism of the irradiation inducing coloration of colorless transparent beryl.
