Abstract: This paper analyzed the changes of the global nickel resources production, and summarized the world's nickel production positions. Then, the history of the consumption of global nickel resources was introduced, and the current global nickel resources consumption situation has been comprehensively analyzed. The analysis shows that the current supply and demand pattern of nickel resources in the world primarily consist of one demand center, two supply areas and three importers. In addition, this paper also indicates that in the future the nickel resource-rich countries are still the important supplier of the global nickel resources and East Asia(China and Japan) as the world's biggest nickel resources consumption centre will remain unchanged.
