Abstract: How to maximum avoid risks in CDM projects of coal bed methane, how to decrease the cost in developing CDM projects are current and further urgent problems that have to be solved in China. This paper analyzed risks in potential CDM projects of China Coal Bed Methane projects, including selecting project sites, analysis market supply and demand risk for Coal Bed Methane in nearby region of coal mines, analyzed each risk in verification, registration and validation, gave risk apportion measures and point out that all risks should be taken by different participates, such as buyer, seller and broker.
