Abstract: Antimony is a non-renewable strategic mineral as well as the indispensable raw material of modern industry development.This paper summarizes the main types of global antimony deposits with its spatial distribution and compares antimony characteristics of main countries.Analysing the main features of global antimony production,resources development and utilization history,present situation and future development trend of main countries,the author points out that Chinese antimony resources consumption is fast in recent years,along with the boom of antimony ore resources exploration and development activities in other countries,there will probably be a change in global antimony ore supply pattern in the future where China was the major supplier.
