Abstract: There is a huge gap between mineral resources supply and demand especially in the bulk of mineral resources in China. On the contrary, there is abundant mineral resources overseas which can be very a good complement to China. Therefore carrying out international cooperation in the field of mineral resources is an indispensable way to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of domestic resources. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of three methods of international cooperation in mining fields, eventually gives proposition and policy recommendation for current and long-term international cooperation.
