Abstract: Changde City is rich in mineral resources, especially has obvious advantage of gypsum, phosphate, bentonite, rock salt, mirabilite, sepiolite, etc. But the development and utilization is faced with a series of questions, such as low utilization rate,, ecological environment destruction and so on.. Strengthen the mineral resources management,put an importance to increasing reserves and reducing waste, setup an reasonable price system and embark on the road of intensive development of comprehensive utilization of resources are the main countermeasures to solve the problems above and realize the rational utilization of nonmetallic mineral resources.
