Abstract: Mineral resources is very rich in Inner Mongolia.But the mine geological environment problems become more and more with strengthening mining day by day.The problems include mine occupation and destruction of land resources,geological disasters induced by mining activity,environmental impact of solid waste,the impact and destruction of the groundwater system induced by mining activity,etc..The current status of mine environment in Inner Mongolia was analyzed in the paper.Many problems in governing mine geological environment were pointed out,include mining enterprises not active in investing mine geological environment,the legal protection system not perfect,the scientific technology standards lack,the governance security deposit system carrying out not smoothly,the supervision weak,etc..The countermeasures were pointed out to solve the current problems in mine geological environment governance,include further increasing propaganda,improving relevant laws and regulations,filling relevant standards,establishing a national-regional-cartel governance mechanism,strengthen supervision,etc..
