Abstract: The paper analyzes the supply and demand condition of iron mine resource in our country on the analysis of its natural features, categories and integrated evaluation, then gives helpful ways to realize the sustainable development of iron mine, like:going on increasing iron mine reserves; giving protective exploitation of iron mine; importing iron ore adequately; spreading economical economy; reforming the technologies of mining; developing green mining area; having suitable company-management and promoting science and technology development of mining industry.
