Abstract:
The iron polymetallic deposit in Baishiya,Dulan,Qinghai,is located within the contact zone between Carboniferous sedimentary rocks and igneous rocks,related to the volcanic edifice.As the igneous rocks are buried by the Quaternary diluvial and wind piled sands,the characteristics of geology,geochemistry,and remote sensing in the whole region is not obvious,and only relying on geophysical work can we identify the distribution of concealed igneous rocks quickly,which provides information for the target selection of resource exploration.After dealing with the geophysical data by several methods,such as filtering,continuation,derivation,wavelet analysis and two class inversion,and having the prominent boundary of anomalous body like Cagniard resistivity's Laplace and Salter line detection transformed,then the boundary of the volcanic edifice and sedimentary rocks is found,and spatial distribution of geological-geophysical signs of the igneous rocks and the volcanic edifice is determined,and finally we established the geological-geophysical model of the volcanic-intrusive edifice under ideal conditions in the area.
